Random Consulting Limited (RCL) has formally responded to public statements made by Curaçao Finance Minister Charles Cooper. The Malta-based firm, which supplies the technical infrastructure for the island’s new online gambling regime, denied the allegation that it receives an annual government payment of ANG 8.3 million (€4.6m).
Financial Dispute Over Gambling Technology
RCL clarified its financial standing by referencing its payment history with the local government. The company asserted that the total sum received since 2022 does not align with the annual figure proposed by the Ministry. This clarification aims to resolve confusion regarding the compensation structure for the technology services provided to the jurisdiction.
