Flutter Entertainment will remove its ordinary shares from the London Stock Exchange on 3 August 2026. The company will maintain its sole public listing on the New York Stock Exchange under the FLUT ticker.
The operator announced the withdrawal after reviewing its dual-listing structure, a topic first raised in its Q1 financial report on 7 May. Management cited consistently low trading volumes on the LSE alongside rising administrative and regulatory costs. Flutter has submitted the required cancellation application to the Financial Conduct Authority, with the final trading session on the London market scheduled for 31 July 2026.

UK and international shareholders currently holding positions through the London exchange will need to route future transactions through the NYSE. Brokerage and custody arrangements may adjust accordingly, which could influence trading costs and liquidity conditions for smaller retail accounts. The strategic shift aims to streamline compliance procedures and reduce operational expenses.The delisting reflects a wider pattern of firms relocating primary listings to American markets. Eighty-eight companies either left the LSE or moved their main listings elsewhere in 2024, while Bloomberg data placed London twentieth in global IPO rankings that year with just 18 new listings. Peel Hunt equity analyst Ivor Jones previously stated, "The UK is a small market and a small share of total equity value, and that has put pressure on valuations." He added that rising interest rates have prompted domestic investors to reallocate capital, resulting in steady market outflows.
